I made an Open-Faced Double Strawberry Pie. It has a layer of cream cheese, strawberry compote and fresh strawberries on top. The recipe is from the Pie and Pastry Bible, by Rose Levy Beranbaum. It was amazing.
I live in Brooklyn and work in Manhattan as a sweater designer for a large private label company. Additionally, I have an Etsy store where I sell handknit cold weather accessories, such as hats and scarves and (this fall) mittens. I also have some crocheted towels and potholders on there. Buy 'em up!
